Make-up Trend: Midnight Blue Eye Shadow

Looking every bit regal in her Gucci dress, makeup artist Mickey Contractor took inspiration from it for Sonam's gorgeous midnight blue smoky eyes. He rimmed her eyes with black liner, then topped it with a blend of smoky blue and gray shadow. A few swipes of rich, thickening mascara finished her look. For her lips, he added a pop of peachy coral lipstick and topped her cheeks off with some peach blush. She looks stunning!

In an upcoming issue of Filmfare, Katrina Kaif's sexy smoky eyes make us green with envy. "Katrina wears some neutrals, so I wanted to smoke up the eyes a bit to add some glamour," said make-up artist Mickey Contractor. Rather than opting for traditional black and gray shadow, he layered a blend of bronze and forest green hues, rimmed the eyes in a bronzy eyeliner, and finished with a few swipes of mascara.

"The idea was to give Anushka Sharma a simple and current look to compliment her sheer gray and black dress on the latest cover of Cosmopolitan India" said her makeup artist, Cory Walia. He kept the eyes smoky, and added a pop of color with giving her orangish lips. If you want to try a similar look, keep the shade modern by blending creamy, nectarine lipstick with a swipe of a peachy-toned gloss.
